Headmistress – Margaret McSwiggan

Margaret McSwiggan (MA, BEd) has over twenty-five years' teaching experience in both Australia and the U.K. Since arriving in England in 1990 she has been Housemistress at King Edward's School, Witley (where she taught Design Technology) and Headmistress of Notre Dame Senior School, Cobham and St. Mary's School, Shaftesbury. She was appointed Deputy Headmistress (Pastoral) of Heathfield St Mary's School in September 2007 and became Headmistress in January 2008.

Bursar - John Bueno

John Bueno (FAIA MCMI) was appointed Bursar of Heathfield School in July 2004. Prior to this he was the Bursar at Godstowe Preparatory School in High Wycombe. John started his career as a Bursar after 25 years, 15 of which were overseas as an expatriate, in the Oil and Gas business in various managerial, commercial and financial roles.

Director of Studies - Charlotte Fowler

Charlotte Fowler was appointed Director of Studies for Heathfield St Mary's School in September 2007, joining us from Kingston Grammar School where she was Head of Religious and Personal Education. After completing her first degree in Theology at Oxford, Charlotte went on to study for a PGCE at Cambridge and then a Masters degree in Philosophy at London University, where she still tutors Masters students and supervises dissertations occasionally. She is also Secretary of the Oxford Conference in Education and the organiser of popular INSET days for teachers.
