We recognise that school life does not replace home life and we make every effort to ensure that the girls' time at school complements their home life.

Whilst at school we actively encourage the girls to have regular contact with parents, family and friends and vice versa. Girls have their own email addresses and access to a number of telephones. They can also bring their mobile phones to school although some restrictions are placed on their use for the younger girls. The girls love to have post – letters, postcards and parcels are always very well received.

Birthdays are celebrated with a special prayer in chapel and parents are welcome to bring a cake into school.

Parents are encouraged to visit the school for sports matches, concerts, plays and any other school occasions. In addition to exeats, girls can also take meals out at the weekend.

The Head of House is the first point of contact for parents and they are almost always available. In addition the year group Housemistresses can be contacted in the evenings and at weekends.
