Our History
Heathfield St Mary's was created in 2006 following the merger of two long standing and highly regarded independent schools, Heathfield School and St Mary's Wantage. Heathfield St Mary's combines the traditions and heritage from both establishments, creating a school for the future.
Uniting the two schools significantly enhances the quality of education that we are able to provide. The sale of the St Mary’s site will generate substantial funds which will be invested in our new school. We will be drawing on the strengths of both schools to ensure that Heathfield St Mary’s offers the very best education for girls. In the coming years, we will be enhancing our facilities with a new Sixth form accommodation block, library and a performing arts centre.
