Leadership and Responsibility
All Lower VI Form / Year 12 girls are prefects, allowing them to take on important roles of responsibility, developing necessary leadership and communication skills that are sure to benefit them in the future.
Prefects are responsible for leading the school, liaising with staff, looking after an area of school life such as sport, choir or chapel or looking after younger girls as a form prefect.
One girl is chosen to be Head Girl and she is supported by a Deputy Head Girl. A girl is also chosen to be Head of each House and is involved in organising the houses activities, matches and competitions.
There is also the opportunity to become a member of the School Council, Food Committee or Chapel Committee.
Leadership training and team work is carried out on a residential trip in the UK or Europe at the beginning of the Sixth form and this is followed by a programme of activities throughout the Sixth Form.
