Extra-Curricular Activities

All girls are encouraged to participate in the extra-curricular programme and the range of activities offered means that each girl has the opportunity to discover and develop her talents.

There are regular art, craft and drama workshops and clubs ranging from Scottish dancing to Spanish cooking.

There is also a lively Upper VI Form / Year 13 discussion group and a programme of talks given by visiting speakers. Older girls can participate in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme and the Young Enterprise Organisation.

The competitive House system sponsors a busy agenda of events such as House matches, gymnastics, music and drama competitions and a House quiz.

Junior and senior girls alike are strongly encouraged to take advantage of all that is on offer but as girls become more mature they are allowed to assume increasing responsibility for planning their own leisure time.
